Meet Bethany

I’m 21 years old, and live in the lovely state of North Carolina.  I would definitely rank NC in the top ten worst states to live in when changing religions.

I’m a former photography student, and had to leave school for the time being (check out my photography blog!).

I try to be open minded, and willing to try anything.  I’ve been a vegetarian since the very end of April 2012.

I’m got married in December 2012 to an amazing man, and managed to subtly incorporate my beliefs without my family thinking that I’m a heathen devil worshiper (notice the sarcasm).  I’m not telling most of my family about my conversion until I’ve had plenty of time to gather evidence proving that I have changed for the better, which I’m certain will be a while.

Anything else?  Feel free to ask 🙂

Hi Bethany! I came across this through Andrew Bowen’s blog.
I find stories involving non-Indian Hindus very interesting. Mostly because I’m also a Caucasian Hindu and generally find myself alone in this.
I look forward to reading your story/journey 🙂
